During a performance in Mexico on March 17th, Bebe Rexha was hit in the head by a phone that was thrown on stage by afan in the audience. The singer was singing "Meant to Be," when a fan threw a phone and hit her on the head. Immediately, security rushed to her aid and removed her from the stage.
After the incident, Bebe Rexhatook to social media to express her frustration about the incident. She posted a video on her Instagram story saying, "To the person that threw their phone onstage and hit me in the head, you can't be throwing phones at people, what the f***!" She also posted a photo of her bruised forehead with the caption, "To the b**** that threw her phone onstage. Thank god it didn't hit me in my left eye or I would be f***ing blind. Come on, you guys. You can't be throwing phones at artists' heads."
Many fans have come to Bebe Rexha's defense, condemning the fan's actions and calling for better behavior at concerts. It is unclear whether any legal action will be taken against the fan who threw the phone.
Bebe Rexha has continued her tour and has not let the incident affect her performances. She is currently on her "Better Mistakes" tour, promoting her latest album of the same name.
